In 2018, I was presented with a design concept that sparked my interest. My role was to engineer the structure in a way that complied with the City’s codes and design requirements. This project required extensive coordination with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), particularly because the forward front leg of the structure is positioned above the train tracks below.
I take great pride in this well-engineered project, which I believe will become a popular photo opportunity in New York for years to come.
